Powerful storm storms moving towards Japan's mainland

Kagoshima
The powerful storm storm is moving towards Japan's mainland rapidly on Sunday. Earlier, several people were injured on the South Island due to the storm. Weather officials have warned that heavy winds and torrential rains threaten landslides and floods. The tour has been interrupted due to the storm in the world's third largest economy. Bullet train services in Western Japan have been stopped and about 1,000 flights have been canceled. Local officials said that the television footage showed that the outbreak of air in Okinawa is such that cars have reversed. Many houses have become submerged or damaged and 38 people have received minor injuries, but no one is expected to die. According to the official broadcaster NHK, officials have asked 349,000 people to go to safer places while the electricity of more than 300,000 homes has been cut. Masaki Tamaki, an officer from Kagoshima's Disaster Management section, said, "We request people to stay within the house because now it is very dangerous to get out."
